This week in schools throughout the United States, many will be observing Constitution Week. Constitution Week commemorates the adoption of the United States Constitution, which was created on September 17, 1787.
The first three words of the document, “We the People,” affirms that the purpose of government is to serve its citizens. The Constitution has been amended 27 times and originally comprised of seven articles.
